Tokyo City : At 10:០0 AM on Wednesday, 18th March 2026, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, His Excellency Lou Kim Chhun, Delegate of the Royal Government of Cambodia in charge as Chairman and CEO of Sihanoukville Autonomous Port (PAS), and Chairman of PAS Board of Directors, and His Excellency Long Dimanche, Deputy Governor of Preah Sihanouk Provincial Municipality, Representative of His Excellency Mang Sineth, Governor of Preah Sihanouk Provincial Municipality, led Members of PAS Board of Directors and PAS Management to pay a courtesy call to and having a discussion meeting with the potential Japanese Shareholders, KAMIGUMI Co., Ltd, led by Mr. Norihio TAHARA, Representative Director, Vice President of KAMIGUMI, and Kobe-Osaka International Port Co., Ltd, led by Mr. Takafumi KUDO, President of Kobe-Osaka International Port Corporation regarding PAS's current situation on the challenges for Sihanoukville Port to became a “Regional Hub Port”. Taking this special occasion, on behalf of the leader of delegation of PAS’s Board of Director, would like to express our sincere appreciation and deep thank to the two potential Japanese Shareholders for strongly trust on PAS’s management and operation and constantly support for the capacity building on “On-Job-Training” and “Training of Trainers” for strengthening and improving of port management and operation for New Container Terminal- Phase1, 2, 3 with efficiency and high productivity, especially the maintenance of Cargo Handling Equipment (QGC and RTG Cranes), the operation of Automatic Rubber-tired Gantry Crane (A-RTG) and Terminal Operation Systems (TOS) etc. The New Container Terminal- Phase 1, 2, 3 will be operation in 2027, 2029, 2030 accordingly
