Sihanoukville Autonomous Port (PAS) : At 7 AM on Saturday, 21st December 2024 at the venue of PAS Container Terminal, Sihanoukville Autonomous Port held a celebration ceremony of achievement of container throughput in the volume of 1,000,000 TEUs for a period of container handling operation from the beginning of Q1 2024 to the end of Q4 2024, presided over by His Excellency Mang Sineth, Governor of Preah Sihanouk Province and His Excellency Lou Kim Chhun, Delegate of the Royal Government of Cambodia in charge as Chairman and CEO of Sihanoukville Autonomous Port,, Mr. ABE Yoshihiro, First Secretary of the Embassy of Japan to Cambodia, Ms. MIURA Yoshiko, Senior Representative of JICA Cambodia Office and participated by managements of Preah Sihanouk Province, management, employees and workers of Sihanoukville Autonomous Port, Representatives of Sihanoukville International Port Customs and Excise Branch, Representatives of of Immigration Police of Sihanoukville International Port Branch, Preah Sihanouk Provincial Police Commissariat, Preah Sihanouk Military Command, Preah Sihanouk Provincial Gendarmerie, JICA Expert Team, Representatives of Consulting Firms, and Representatives of 15 Shipping Line Companies. This great milestone of achievement marks PAS’s significant role in contributing into the transportation and logistics sectors for Cambodia’s national economic growth
