Assembly of Achievement Conclusions in Public Works and Transport in 2021 and Work Plans for 2022
On Thursday, 27th January 2022, His Excellency Lou Kim Chhun, Delegate of Royal Government of Cambodia in charge as Chairman and CEO of Sihanoukville Autonomous Port (PAS) and PAS management attended the Assembly of Achievement Conclusions in Public Works and Transport in 2021 and Work Plans for 2022, presided over by His Excellency Senior Minister Sun Chanthol, Minister of Public Works and Transport.
His Excellency Lou Kim Chhun, Delegate of Royal Government of Cambodia in charge as Chairman and CEO of Sihanoukville Autonomous Port (PAS) made a speech on PAS developments to integrate Cambodia`s waterway sector regionally and globally through 3 phases of New Container Terminal Development Plan as below:
1. Phase 1 : Length 350 meters and Depth -14.50 meters. Terminal capacity in phase 1 is able to allow vessels with 4,000 TEUs or 60,000 DWT. Construction in this project is scheduled to be complete and ready for operation in 2025.
2. Phase 2 : Length 400 meters and Depth -16.50 meters. Terminal capacity in phase 2 is able to allow vessels with 10,000 TEUs or 120,000 DWT. Construction in this project is scheduled to be complete and ready for operation in 2028.
3. Phase 3 : Length 430 meters and Depth -17.50 meters. Terminal capacity in phase 3 is able to allow vessels with 15,000 TEUs or 160,000 DWT. Construction in this project is scheduled to be complete and ready for operation in 2030.
